As an OCC Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Volocopter flying program.

You will be a conduit for information and be required to process, prioritize, and promote this effectively, and you will be adept at problem-solving and critical thinking.

The OCC Managers are not confined to a desk, and you will be required to assist with ramp operations which require both physical and mental agility.

Responsibilties

1. Dispatch of aircraft within the Volocopter Fleet.
2. Pre-flight briefing of Flight Crew, identifying hazards to flight safety and commercial risks.
3. Flight Watch; ensuring the operation is safe, expeditious, and cost-effective.
4. Flight Planning, the generation, submission, and management of Operational Flight Plans (OFP).
5. Liaison with flow management centers and local ATC facilities, mitigating delays to filed Flight Plans.
6. Aircrew roster management, allocation, and monitoring duties to prescribed standards and Flight Time Limitations (FTL) schemes.
7. They are proactively communicating with stakeholders and sharing information.
8. Escalation of issues in a timely fashion where input is required from other departments or organizations.
9. Proactive weather and NOTAM checking before the commencement of operations.
10. They coordinate ground handling, energy monitoring, permits, HOTAC, and transport. They are facilitating short-notice operations.
11. They collect pre-flight documentation and process return flight documentation (RFD).
12. GSE facilitates ramp movements, fueling aircraft, and managing cargo.
13. They are enacting Emergency Response Procedures (ERP) as required.
14. Proactive contribution to Volocopter´s Safety Culture and Safety Management System.

Qualifications

1. Experience working within the Aviation Industry.
2. Experience gained within an OCC or Ground Handling Agent.
3. Understanding of Flight Time Limitations.
4. Computer literate & excellent knowledge of MS office suite.
5. Ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Preferred skills

1. Holder of a Dispatch Licence.
2. Use of Flight Planning and Operational Control Systems.
3. Min. 3 Years of OCC experience.
4. German language skills.
