Archetype Ventures is an independent venture capital firm specializing in seed/early stage B2B Tech Startups.

Since our founding in 2013, we have managed a total of approximately 7 billion yen in two funds and have provided investment support to approximately 40 entrepreneurs who challenge the creation of the next era. (As of January 2021) With the mission of “Entrepreneur First,” we will continue to provide all kinds of added value, not just funds, as the closest person to entrepreneurs.

In forming the No. 3 fund, we believe it is necessary to increase and strengthen the front team before the number of AUM and investee companies increases compared to the current situation, so we plan to adopt a senior associate position. have become.

Currently, the front team consists of 5 people (including 2 GPs), and the middle/back office has 1 person.

[Assumed business content]

• Value-up business (Comprehensive support for investment support: sales, marketing, strategy, HR, finance, etc., in areas where strengths are utilized or desired to be expanded)
• Due diligence (general considerations for making investment decisions)
• Deal sourcing (initial screening and selection of companies entering the investment consideration process, etc.)
• Finance support (financing support, the process for listing, support for M&A, etc.)
• Hard things support (support for troubles that occur at startup)
• Networking support (building relationships with relevant parties as needed, participation in events, etc.)
• Firm improvement and team strengthening (activities to realize smoother fund management and more vital value enhancement)

Experience in working with (including investing in) or supporting startups, such as:

• Investment bank / PE fund or business company (management planning / new business) or strategy consulting or other, product management, sales, business development, or VC work experience

• English: Business English level (Expected business content in English: shareholder regulars in English, dealing with contracts, etc.)

Estimated Annual Income*Consultation required depending on experience

Holidays are Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and summer holidays however, the above holidays may be changed due to work circumstances.

Salary increase Twice a year (established at the evaluation timing in June and December)However, it may not be revised depending on company performance or individual performance.

Bonus Once a year (Payment date may change or may not be paid depending on company performance. The amount is determined in consideration of the individual’s performance, work attitude, ability, etc.)
