A day in the life of a Field Auto Technical Adjuster:
- Communicate empathetically with customers and help them through their claim process in a fast, fair, and accessible manner
- Efficiently write or review accurate estimates and supplements based on physical inspections
- Review, reconcile, and negotiate with, repair facilities, customers, and claimants
- Perform parts searches
- Work in multiple workstreams (Field Inspections, Quick Foto Claims, Waivers, Virtual Assist, Tech Reviews, Total loss)
- Use data and analytics to problem solve and contribute to team goals by sharing ideas and opinions.

Notice of Licensing Requirement
- As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and an appraiser license.
- If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you and the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are correctly licensed.

- Company Vehicle (vehicle dependent on mileage and area of coverage) and cell phone may be provided based on business need Qualifications:
- You are a high school or GED graduate
- You have 18 months or more of Auto Estimating / Body Shop / Insurance experience
- You have prior experience using auto estimating programs such as CCC One, Audatex, or Mitchell
- You enjoy the ability to work independently, traveling to various locations to restore peoples’ lives through outstanding customer service.
- Previous customer service experience
- Value providing an effortless customer service experience
- Are organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- They are known for clear and professional communication – both written and verbal
- Being bilingual and having prior military experience is a plus
- This position is not available for California, Alaska, and Hawaii residents
Where will I work?
- Candidate must reside in Milford, CT area.
- Work schedule: To be determined based on business needs
- Weekend rotations with comp day New Hire
$5,000 New Hire Sign-On Bonus! Compensation offered for this role is $56,600.00-$80,100.00 per year based on experience and qualifications. The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit a background investigation, including a drug screen.
