Job Description
To successfully manage the integration of a newly acquired manufacturing site in Japan, we are currently looking for a Project Integration Manager who will closely work with the General Manager of the Japanese Subsidiary and other Corporate C-level Officers to set up the operational organization of the subsidiary and putting the base for the strategic transformation and global growth objectives of the Japanese site.
The Project Integration Manager will be in charge of developing, coordinating, and evaluating overall integration project plans in IT, HR, Finance, Sales, QA/RA, and any functions as required that grant the proper continuity of the business from the acquisition date. He/she will drive cross-functional teams towards tangible operational results by ensuring proper governance structures and sustainable business models aligned with the corporate strategy.
The Project Integration Manager, when and if required, will also work to guarantee a transparent and accurate overview of the company’s businesses on behalf of the General Manager in front of the Executive Committee of the company.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Integration Manager will be accountable for the following activities:
- Participate in the definition of the long-term corporate strategy and objectives through the design and the update of the Strategic Integration plan;
- Act as liaison between the selling company and the NewCo, overlooking the Transitional Services Agreements between the parties;
- Support the GM and the Finance Manager Japan in developing, structuring and implementing all required accounting reports, purchasing and payment fluxes, as well as fiscal requirements to sustain the strategic and financial objectives of the company while granting the necessary compliance;
- Support the GM and the Head of HR Japan in the design of an adequate organizational structure, supported by integrated policies and practices, by defining Job Descriptions and Job Scopes, accountability matrix, and authorization scheme;
- Support the Head of HR Japan in setting up HR Administration fluxes;
- Support the IT Manager Japan in the set-up of an autonomous networking and informatic structure aligned with Corporate requirements, with specific regard to Cyber Security requirements;
- Support the GM and the IT Manager Japan in defining the SAP integration Blueprint
- Led cross-functional project teams on the different initiatives identified in the Strategic Integration Plan, overseeing both the day-by-day activities and the mid/long-term strategy
- Adopt a problem-solving attitude and ensure roadblocks and criticalities are overcome within the project teams
- Overall project management of all activities leading to the integration of the newly acquired manufacturing site and operation
- Act as a communication bridge between Japanese function heads at the site and relevant global counterparts
- Act as a coordinator between external parties and relevant global members if and when required

Requirements
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- 4-5 years of Project management experience
- university Degree
- Proven previous experience in Integration Projects
- Highly detail-oriented, motivated, self-starter, and organized, with excellent communication skills
