- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Job Location: Field-based (East)
- Salary: Salary dependent on experience between £25,000 and £28,000
- Travel: 50% travel

We have an excellent opportunity for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our global organisation permanently. As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8/HSG274 and LCA and UKAS standards. Excellent working knowledge of water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these is required.This is a field-based role, and I may travel to the Wolverhampton office to support the team with technical input. The successful candidate will benefit from a company vehicle and must hold a full current driving license for use in the UK.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should be an experienced Legionella Assessor with ~12 months of risk assessment experience as a qualified lead risk assessor on hot and cold water systems. The successful candidate will ideally hold at least one nationally recognised qualification such as the C&G WH004, Water Management Society basic and advanced LRA, or BOHS P901. Evidence of qualifications will be required before any potential offer of employment.The successful candidate is required to be flexible and has good communication skills, both written and verbal. A good work ethic is essential, as is the discipline to be able to work unsupervised and still achieve the required daily work output. The candidate will have a conscientious mindset with a positive approach to work and be able to use initiative to work effectively in any given situation.They will also have an excellent working knowledge of water systems, supplies, and regulations governing these.Good IT skills are required, particularly in Microsoft Word / Outlook and the use of iPads. Experience with Excel spreadsheets would also be beneficial.Additional beneficial experience would include: –
- Water temperature monitoring
- Water sampling (Legionella, TVC and PSA)
- TMV servicing
- Shower head/outlet descale and disinfection
- HTM 04-01 Compliant Risk Assessment
