2D Animator (SENIOR)

The SPA Studios, the Award-winning Feature Animation Studio, is selecting talented and experienced 2d Senior Animators for our next stunning project.

We are looking for Talented artists with very good design skills who can convey a full range of feelings through the performance of the characters assigned to them.

Responsibilities:

1. Create character animation with convincing motion and performances.
2. Follow Film Director’s guidance through the Animation Supervisor and Lead.
3. Match design references and styles
4. Be self-motivated and have the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. Have a yearning for perfection and excellence.
6. Deliver animation in alignment with production deadlines.
7. Have an appreciation for accuracy and pay close attention to detail while ensuring the work moves efficiently through the animation pipeline
8. Actively collaborate with the rest of the production team (designers, directors etc.)

Job Requirements

• At least four years of professional experience as a 2d senior character animator (feature movies, TV animation productions).
• Previous experience at least in one 2d animated feature movie as a senior animator
• Have an excellent understanding of the principles of animation and filmmaking
• Have Advanced acting skills and the ability to make the characters come alive and connect emotionally with the audience.
• Be self-motivated and comfortable working with deadlines
• Teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Being able to take instructions and be willing to receive constructive comments to push and improve the final work.
• English knowledge is mandatory as the film is english language film
• Availability to relocate to Madrid is preferred.

Softwares skills:

Professional experience with Harmony Toon Boom is preferred.
