Under the direction of a Principal Engineer and Technical Lead, you will gain exposure to Energy projects in the Solar, Wind, and Oil and gas fields. Some of your responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

1. Working with experienced staff, the candidate will complete civil engineering designs and the generation of professional plans and specifications, technical calculations, exhibits, and reports.
2. Basic knowledge and understanding of Civil Engineering design including utility, grading/earthwork, drainage, access road design, erosion and sedimentation control, infrastructure design, and constructability evaluations.
3. Design to current codes and standards.
4. Performs and executes technical calculations with supervision.
5. With supervision utilize Civil 3D to create alignments, corridors, and feature lines to produce civil grading and roadway models for the engineering team to review.
6. Collaborate with other disciplines and the project engineering team for structural and electrical design requirements.
7. Respect and enforce policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings.
8. Realize the different stages of the project in the timeframes and budgets.
9. Provide guidance for project schedules and allotted hours for project tasks.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, with a focus on site civil development, solar, roadways, pipelines, and stormwater design.
2. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
3. Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD software.
4. Civil 3D software is considered a plus.
5. Strong technical, communication, and design skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with multi-disciplinary teams; deal with complex
7. issues and maintain effective working relationships.
