That is why we are now looking to hire an Integration DevOps Engineer focusing on Data and Streaming Integration in one of our offices:

Hamburg, Amsterdam, Katowice, or Stockholm. As an Integration DevOps Engineer, you will be taking part in the digitalization of the Vattenfall business by developing and maintaining integration solutions. ​​​​​​​

Responsibilties

• You will join our solid international DevOps team, getting the possibility to work with multiple technologies for integrating systems and data.
• Being a combination of project work and operative support for solutions in production, the position offers a lot of variety and professional development opportunities.
• This position mainly focuses on data integration and event stream processing technologies.

As an Integration DevOps Engineer, you should be self-driven, exact, analytic, and know how to prioritize.

You are not only an experienced technician, but you also have the competence to understand the needs of the business, you are open-minded and passionate about IT, and you enjoy working in an international team.

Qualifications

• Academic degree, preferably in IT, Computer Science, Information Management, or another relevant field
• Work experience with developing and maintaining event stream processing solutions in hybrid IT environments using Apache Kafka
• Work experience with developing and maintaining Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• At least three years of relevant work experience as a Developer, IT Operations Engineer, or DevOps
• Engineer in a corporate environment.

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial to have work experience in any of the following areas:

• Azure Integration Services (API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps)
• Administration of Linux or Windows operating systems
• Programming languages like C#, PowerShell, Bash, Python
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or TFS
• Experience or certification in ITIL or TOGAF
