About the role

As a Cleaner, you will provide a safe, clean, quality home that promotes person-centered care for our residents, staff, and visitors. You will be part of a team that maintains the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the home.

During your day, you will get to engage in meaningful conversations and tasks for our residents, giving you a sense of purpose in your work.

We currently offer multiple permanent part-time positions, with shifts available over seven days of the week.

The Sandgate Lucinda Home:

• The large 162-bed home is located in the lovely suburb of Sandgate.
• Lucinda is one of 3 homes in the Regis Sandgate community.
• Accessible by Public Transport and is close to shops, restaurants, and more!
• Staff parking at the facility
• Fantastic leaders in the home that support and encourage you to grow your career

A day in the life of a Cleaner may see you:

1. Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift
2. Interacting with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
3. Ensure the home is cleaned to a high standard

What we look for:

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, health care, or Aged Care environment; or the willingness and motivation to learn
• Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
• Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbally
• A passion for interacting with our residents
