They are looking for someone three days a week, flexible around university commitments, with the program running between March and December. Job Description

  • Review key business contracts, including program licences, research, marketing and general services agreements, and the NBCU contract database maintenance.
  • Assistance with company administration and corporate secretarial document and compliance matters.
  • Research on key legal developments and preparation of briefing notes for the NBCU legal team.
  • Assistance with drafting of legal policies and legal training materials, and assist in the provision of staff training.
  • Assistance with rights clearance matters, preparation of crew and participant releases, administration of marketing competitions and related initiatives.
  • Ad hoc filing, administrative and general team-support responsibilities.
  • Liaising with external licensors, suppliers and customers as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently completing a territory degree in Law in New South Wales, second year or later.
  • Preference is given to students who have completed Contract Law and Media Law / Intellectual Property Law subjects.
  • Experience in reviewing and drafting contracts and preparing written legal advice acquired on the job or through coursework.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
  • Passion for the law and strong interest in television and film industries.
  • Ethical and responsible. Leading others by exhibiting honesty, fairness and diligence.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills

2. Design Intern

This role is a fixed-term contract for nine months between mid-March and mid-December 2024. They are looking for someone two days a week, flexible around university commitments.

Job Description

  • Assisting the creative team with product development and approvals for fashion, living, consumables, beauty and care categories.
  • Receiving, sending & unpacking samples.
  • Storeroom coordination, including organising samples, creative displays and storage organisation
  • Assist the product development process, including product safety and the final sample stage
  • Assist with reviewing strike offs & pre-production samples, including receiving parcels and initial checks
  • Assist with the release of assets, including Asset Release forms
  • Compiling images and photographing products for international presentations such as lookbooks.
  • Office support duties – ie: arranging couriers & post as needed.
  • Design briefs, including new product development and packaging concepts.
  • Ad hoc projects and tasks as required
  • Assisting the Consumer Products team by creating research documents and undertaking competitor analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of targeted pitch presentations for potential licensees, partners and retailers
  • Presentation of the project to the management team at the end of the internship

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently
  • Excellent communication and a great team player
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Actively completing a Design Degree in the year 2021.
  • An interest and awareness of upcoming design and fashion trends.

3. Commercial Intern

This role is a fixed-term contract for nine months between mid-March and mid-December 2024. They are looking for someone three days a week, flexible around university commitments.

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the Commercial Intern will support their licensees, retailers and agent activities across Consumer Products lines. This intern works alongside the Retail Marketing Intern across the ANZ and SEA regions.
  • Assist with the coordination of Mall Retail Activations and Location Based Entertainment
  • Assist with Creative, PD and marketing approvals across retail and CP licensee submissions
  • Help to coordinate key Licensee Digital and Social Marketing activities
  • Assist with research and tracking changing trends in the region on digital and social executions & competitive landscape
  • Help to maintain databases, spreadsheets and tracking documents liaising internally and externally where required
  • Assist with the preparation of targeted pitch presentations for potential licensees mall partners, and retailers
  • Coordinate the creation of a monthly creative report to capture product and marketing executions for reporting and future inspiration
  • Help create regular E-Newsletter with Franchise and CP updates
  • Input regularly into APAC Weekly Market Update emails to senior management
  • Presentation of the project to the management team at the end of the internship
  • Help with other Adhoc tasks as required to support the SEA, India, and ANZ team
