Job Description.
Airbus DS – Connected Intelligence division is opening a new position of Model Manager with at least a first experience in managing a modeling approach tailoring, deployment, and animation into projects in Elancourt. You will join TECEM (SoS Design & Gouvernance Service) department in charge of delivering MBSE support services to Airbus projects.
This position will apply Airbus Group MBSE methodologies to the project, with the support of our MBSELab Factory based on the Cameo standard modeling tool.
Responsibilities.
- Methodological expertise and tool support to ensure that the MBSE methodology is properly applied and tools efficiently used.
- Audit/Definition of the modeling objectives within the project context by identifying the problems to be solved using MBSE (via models, analysis & simulations) Ã Modelling Planning Process.
- Identify the training needs of the project team and contribute to MBSE training preparation and delivery to project stakeholders.
- Coaching engineering team on the job during early stages of projects to improve their skills.
- Managing and animating model design.
- Tools deployment & configuration. Share/report on issues.
- Stimulate the use of the model to support SE analysis.
- Manage the model consistency & administration within the NGWS program (internally to the “SoS subprogram, and contributor to managing consistent consolidation with other FCAS pillars/sub-programs).
- Deliver model quality KPI.
- Best practices and lessons learned identification, collect & consolidate modeling tool additional functionalities needs.
- Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality deliverables tailored to the project’s deliverable definition & templates.
- Stimulate the use of the model as a pivot for the project’s SE activities.
- Ensure compliance of the work products with Airbus DS process and procedures.
- Use a collaborative working environment, including MBSElab@cameo, cameo, JIRA, or Confluence.
Requirements.
- At least five years of experience in applying System Engineering (ISO15288, INCOSE, CSEP certification) and MBSE in support of SoS/system development.
- Experience with the Cameo Systems Modeler tool or another modeling tool.
- Knowledge of MBSE concepts like meta-models, ontologies, Architecture frameworks (NAF, UAF, ) and/or SysML.
- Experience in modeling frameworks such as the NATO Architecture Framework or Unified
- Architecture Framework.
- Verbal and written communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a multinational team and in a multi-partner context (leadership & consensus mindset)
- The technical speak-up mindset to contribute to improving methods & tools factory.
- Pragmatic & Problem solver is mandatory.
- Act as a problem-solver with the model as an enabler.
- Good level of English.
Salary: €55000 per year.
