Job Description.
The Senior Consultant is a resource that may have a team lead role on client projects, responsibility for portions of a project, leading small teams, performing and reviewing the detailed analysis, and developing solution recommendations. The Senior Consultant must be able to work independently with oversight. The Senior Consultant will begin developing specialized skills in a key focus area within the markets or services offered by ISG.
Responsibilities.
- Consultation services to clients and suppliers in outsourcing, project management, financial modeling, executive relationships, leadership, negotiation, administration, and marketing.
- Gains an understanding of the client’s current situation and the environment by gathering needed information and using appropriate frameworks and models to develop assessment material for decision-making purposes.
- Responsible for project management of small to medium-sized engagements or major sub-project.
- Leads the planning and development of all project deliverables and assumes overall responsibility for staffing, budget, work plans, scope, project milestones, issues management, and risk management utilizing ISG’s project management methods, tools, and templates.
- Develops simple to medium complexity financial models utilizing ISG templates for comparative analysis of vendor proposals, client data, and RFP proposals.
- Participates as a key contributor on engagements or as a team member of large or mega-deal engagements in business functions.
- Assist and leads in developing initial assessments, project plans, vendor research and selections, financial modeling, RFP creation, contract negotiations, and post-selection administrative actions.
Requirements.
- More than five years of recent relevant work, sourcing, or consulting experience preferred
- Experience focused on transformation aspects, including shared services, operational improvement, and outsourcing/offshoring.
- Business development and sales experience, including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal writing, sales calls, and sales support.
- Working knowledge of capabilities of Tier 1 and Tier 2 outsourcing service providers.
- Delivery management experience, including managing small teams, successful client relationship management, and multi-project oversight.
- Ability to do both strategic assessment and transactional consulting.
- Understands full sourcing lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of operating budgets and the budgeting process (HRO, F&A, IT, etc.)
- Experience developing medium complexity financial models.
Salary: €90,000 Per year.
