Job Description.
As the receptionist at Datadog, you’ll be responsible for our employees’ and guests’ first experience entering our headquarters. You’ll coordinate with building security, greet those who arrive, set them up with their temporary security badge and make sure their host meets them at an appropriate time. In addition to managing the front desk guest experience, you’ll assist with various vendor, event or product research efforts and will be a general go-to for Datadog office questions for visitors and employees alike.
Responsibilities.
- Greet and welcome guests, giving them a positive first impression of the organization.
- Notify Datadog employees of visitor arrival.
- Own cleanliness of the reception area.
- Manage all guest entry into the building management’s security system.
- Coordinate certificate of insurance requirements with vendors.
- Maintaining security and telecommunications systems (iVisitor & Envoy).
- Keep office secure by following procedures and issuing visitor badges.
- Assist with sourcing/research for catering and office events – like regular Party Pups employee events.
- Troubleshoot reception TVs.
- Prepare letters and documents and do some data entry tasks.
Requirements.
- Experienced in 1+ years in a related role with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-described people-person with a friendly and positive demeanour while keeping a professional attitude and adaptable to quick changes and growth.
- Quick in your problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Incredibly organized with paying close attention to every detail.
- Able to provide high-quality customer service.
- Comfortable with a flexible work schedule with the expectation you might have to stay late as needed.
