Responsibilties

• Independent, self-motivated Individual who will provide daily operational support to Global Equity Finance Operations for development.
• Executing goals and objectives regarding business delivery and operational effectiveness, internal business partner and external customer relationship management.
• The Equity Finance MO Operations team is responsible for processing all aspects of daily Securities Lending activity.
• Great diligence ensures all settlements and collateral exchanges are managed properly and timely thru daily reconciliations.
• The Individual will operate as a technical expert in their assigned area.
• In addition to their existing skills, further training on systems, procedures, project management, and business analysis.

Knowledge and Skills

• Guarantee professionalism, motivation, service and quality
• Assist with creating and managing various automated processes
• Resolve Operational and Customer Issues
• Methodical Reconciliation and Reporting Analysis
• Requires fundamental understanding of the securities industry as it relates to the following:
• Depository Trust Company (DTC)
• Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS)
• Broadridge BPS system
• Bank of NY Settlement/Repo platform
• FIS Loanet/Global One platform
• Other duties may be assigned as business needs require them.

Qualification and Experience

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill and ability.

• Equity Finance background, in various facets of both Domestic and International Securities Lending, is essential
• 5 + years of the financial securities industry
• Strong accounting or reconciliation background or related experience
• High proficiency level in core computer applications, including Excel
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a high-pressure work environment
• BA/BS preferred
• Ability to work independently with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist; interpret instructions as needed.
