Company Description
The Shell Mobility Marketing team is charged with developing winning CVPs (Customer Value Propositions) and creating differentiated products and experiences that make consumers choose Shell.
In the role of Brand & Communications Manager, you will support all lines of the Mobility (Retail) business including Fuels, Convenience Retail, Payment, and Loyalty.
You will take responsibility for the development of integrated campaigns that creatively and effectively express the Shell brand and product offerings.
You will lead the prioritization of communication initiatives, and budgeting and you will play an integral part in developing the communications strategy, tactical plans, and creative concepts for Retail in Canada.
Accountabilities:
- Manage contracts and interface with all creative, media, promotions, public relations, POS, and social/digital agencies
- Bring a fresh perspective to Shell’s marketing communications by applying industry best practices, market/consumer understanding, and strong stakeholder management
- Manage the complex relationships between the business, leadership, external partners, and agencies
- Be challenged with prioritization, outlining the tradeoffs, and making sometimes difficult and unpopular decisions
- Showcase leadership by ensuring the appropriate level of collaboration and inclusiveness while ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Key skillset: Strategic marketing & planning; consumer & stakeholder focus; deliver results through others; budget planning & control
Skills & Requirements
- A business degree in Marketing and/or Communications required
- 10-12 + years Marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects
- Strong leadership skills; working with senior-level stakeholders
- Partnership and contract management, inclusive of delivering business performance outcomes and actions plans
- Ability to manage complex situations, stakeholders and competing priorities
- Experience working with a multimillion-dollar budget that generates a clear return on investment.
