Job Description.
The Asset and Infrastructure Care (AIC) team at Hinkley Point A Site is responsible for providing fit-for-purpose solutions for identified Plant degradation issues and compliance-related defects.
A Project Engineer within the AIC team will be expected to technically manage all phases of the design, including pioneering, concept, detail design, and technical oversight during implementation. You will receive support via regular technical meetings and add-hoc meetings as required. Magnox-specific training will be provided as required.
Responsibilities.
- Design risk assessments.
- Concept and detail design documentation.
- Documentation in support of the Site Safety Case.
- Pre-construction information.
- Contract technical specifications.
- Development and maintenance of planning schedules.
- Review and verification other design documentation within the individual’s skill set.
Requirements.
- Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent technical qualification (essential).
- Relevant experience in a heavily regulated industry and Civil systems (Essential).
- CDM 2015 Training (essential).
- Nominated Responsible Engineer or safety case awareness (desirable).

Salary: £47,104 – £62,296 a year.
