The Internship

The Australian NBCUniversal Internship Program is a 9-month program running between March and Dec 2024, which provides real-world work experience, networking opportunities, a structured learning & development program and exposure to one of the world’s leading media companies.

This role is a fixed-term contract for nine months between mid-March and mid-December 2024.

We are looking for someone three days a week, flexible around university commitments.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the Commercial Intern will support our licensees, retailers and agent activities across our Consumer Products lines.

This intern work alongside the Retail Marketing Intern across the ANZ and SEA regions.

1. Assist with the coordination of Mall Retail Activations and Location Based Entertainment
2. Assist with Creative, PD and marketing approvals across retail and CP licensee submissions
3. Help to coordinate key Licensee Digital and Social Marketing activities
4. Assist with research and tracking changing trends in the region on digital and social executions & competitive landscape
5. Help to maintain databases, spreadsheets and tracking documents liaising internally and externally where required
6. Assist with the preparation of targeted pitch presentations for potential licensees and mall partners and retailers
7. Coordinate creation of monthly creative reports to capture product and marketing executions for reporting and future inspiration
8. Help create regular E-Newsletter with Franchise and CP updates
9. Input regularly into APAC Weekly Market Update emails to senior management
10. Presentation of the project to the management team at the end of the internship
11. Help with other adhoc tasks as required to support the SEA, India, ANZ team

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficient in MS Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Excellent communication and a great team player
