Responsibilities

• Execution and full responsibility for local gaap accounting entries in coordination with
• Headquarter Accounting Team.
• Initiate and take an active role in integration/improvement projects with the International
• Accounting Team / Projects Team / SAP Team.
• Ensure and coordinate smooth delivery of financial statement closing process and statutory reporting
• A detailed review of financial statements, schedules and workings
• Manage statutory compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and relevant statutory filings in the Netherlands or Germany
• Cooperation with the Tax team on local tax and Transfer Pricing subjects
• Manage and conduct periodic reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.

Qualities They Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or other related disciplines
• At least seven years of professional experience in the accounting department of an e-commerce company (ideally multi-national) and audit
• Sound experience in local GAAP. IFRS is a plus.
• Good SAP knowledge of FI and MM, and SD modules
• High level of initiative, independent working style, reliability and strong communication skills with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of German or Dutch, both written and spoken.
