Job Description
Gama Aviation is currently recruiting for an FBO Assistant Coordinator, which is an integral role within the Middle East region’s operational and compliance structure, ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the company’s business activities. On a shift basis, the role is responsible for the safe ground handling operation of the company and third-party aircraft. The successful candidate will join a long-established and respected, forward-thinking company.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all aircraft slots and services are updated in the Gama Aviation FBO Software.
- Responsible for customer-focused liaisons with clients to provide fantastic customer services to passengers, crew and third-party supplies – both verbally and by email.
- Strong attention to detail, responsible for booking and arranging multiple services through third-party suppliers, i.e. hotels, catering, and transportation.
- Responsible for the application of landing permits via the airport authority.
- Ensure efficient processing and planningof aircraft operations by statutory requirements and Company policies as defined in the GOM, ensuring
- that key performance indicators are achieved for all aspects of Gama’s FBO customers.
- Responsible for liaising, whilst on shift, with all internal and external service partners, including but not limited to Airport Operations, the external third-party suppliers and Client
- Operations or representatives.
- Provide the initial point of contact for customers operating or wishing to operate at Sharjah International Airport through Gama Aviation FBO.
- Responsible for the completion and distribution of the Daily Shift Report, ensuring that any significant issues requiring attention are forwarded promptly.
- Responsible for the compilation of weekly and monthly aircraft movement reports.
- Responsible for reviewing regularly all operational notices.
- Ensure all safety hazards are reported promptly.
Follow and provide positive feedback on operational procedures introduced by the management team.
Minimum Requirements
- A will to exceed customer service expectations, with an unquestionable work ethic and approach.
- UAE Driving license and international driving permit.
- Demonstrated knowledge of operations within the Business Aviation industry.
- Must be flexible in working hours.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- High-level understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in day-to-day Business Aviation operational requirements.
- Experience building and maintaining effective and robust working relationships with business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in working in a high-pressure environment.
- She has demonstrated recognising and acknowledging complex operational issues, taking proactive and measures to address issues.
