As a Field Technician, you will:
- Work safely in and around operating equipment in a plant environment
- Report correctly unsafe acts and conditions
- Perform field inspections and collect temperature, vibration, and operating data on plant process and utility equipment
- Network with other service and analysis personnel to share knowledge and information
- Follow all Safety, Work Procedures and Policies
- Document and report all the expenses in an organized manner
- Possibly: provide technical service to EV Charging units
- The position requires travel to and from, and may average 15 workdays away from home per month. (Average 75% travel per month; travel across the EU countries by air/train/car)
In this role, you will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Good command of English is a must, other European languages would be a considerable advantage
- Practical knowledge of LV electrical equipment
- Valid and clean Driver’s License
- Candidates must also be physically able to climb 2 m of ladders from time to time, navigate small corridors on occasion, and work in extreme environments from time to time including outdoor environments exposed to the elements
- Candidates should not be afraid of heights as the job requires accessing machinery located in high, exposed places from time to time
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Organized, self-motivated, proactive, and creative approach
- Self-starter who can manage time and responsibilities. This is generally an unsupervised position, so self-motivation and dedication to completing tasks is a must
- Candidate should be comfortable flying to job locations as well as driving long distances and dealing with different cultures
- Candidate must be able to travel with short notice from time to time, and be available for some scheduled weekend jobs
- Candidate needs to be able to establish positive relationships – comprehensibility, openness, interpersonal skills
