Food and Beverage Manager – Hotel in Milan
Job Description
Do you like working with trendy quality food concepts? The Company client, a hotel part of an International Group in the heart of Milan, is looking for an experienced and dynamic F&B; Manager to lead their busy restaurants and bars division.
The Company is looking for a natural-born leader with a strong overall operational, marketing, and commercial focus, an ambassador that will continue developing the venues as destinations in Milan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The management and leadership of the F&B; Division circa 50 staff and managers
- Manage the various F&B; outlets and run the day-to-day operations providing high levels of service
- Maintain a continual focus on achieving profitability through revenue generation and adequate cost controls.
- Stock control, ordering, and wastage
- Support the meetings and events operations from a strategic point of view
- Training new employees and assisting in the recruiting new team members
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen to create exceptional menus, purchase goods, and continuously make necessary improvements
- Incentivize team members to maximize sales and revenue
- Lead F&B; team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel
- Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies, and procedures
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Ensure clientele satisfaction to generate loyalty for the group
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations and HACCP norms at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
- To be the right candidate, you must be/have:
- Min 4 years of experience leading F&B; departments in a Lifestyle hotel with multiple outlets
- Familiar with the local market (Milan)
- Be a leader to a dynamic team
- Strong commercial acumen (with strong Marketing, PR, and Sales understanding)
- Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results
- Passionate about the operation with a hands-on attitude
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and people management background
- Ability to work under pressure; accountable and resilient
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Fluent in English and Italian is a must
Salary: Local package up to €60k – €70k per annum plus bonus and benefits.Average Salary:£70,000
