In this role, you will work closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM) Leadership, country sales, and global cross-functional teams to develop insights, influence critical business decisions, and inform the evolution of their deal-making and commercial strategy in EMEA.
You will be focused on leading the overall agreement strategy, pivoting to a partner-led servicing model, and improving deal performance and accountability governance.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly.
They are instrumental in setting a go-to-market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the process.
They have teams embedded in each central Ads business area and global groups that work across the business areas.
Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in advertising sales, finance or management consulting
- Experience with driving sales support initiatives and structuring data analysis and associated communications, influencing and managing stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Google Marketing Platform, Ads Data Hub, or Advanced Marketing Analytics/Cloud for Marketing
- Ability to present analysis clearly and compellingly for C-level audiences
- Ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
- Excellent problem-solving, written/verbal, project management, and organizational skills.
Responsibilties
- Own the overall EMEA Google Marketing Platform agreement-making and governance model, ensuring a cohesive agreement strategy.
- They continually optimize commercial operations for improved efficiency and support our pivot to certified partners.
- Led the cross-functional regional agreement review forum.
- Own the plan and approval process, monitor appropriately implemented decisions, and represent EMEA in the global deal forum.
- Influence commercial strategy in global and regional leadership forums, representing regional needs based on data and market intel with a strong view of risks and opportunities.
- Design and lead cross-functional commercial initiatives to better suit the needs of EMEA partners and advertisers across pricing, contracting, business requirements, and products.
- Launch and lead the cross-functional sales community to build local institutional knowledge, capture sales feedback and scale best practices.
