Job Description
Responsibilities
Hotel Operations – Normal Business
- Manage the hotel’s overall operations through cost control, guest satisfaction, brand standards, profit maximization, and employee development and retention.
- Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders, including owners, local authorities, and outsource partners/vendors.
- Providing analysis, assistance, troubleshooting, and creative solutions to business and operational challenges.
- Providing services consistent with the brand and promoting positive guest reviews.
- Developing a growth-minded team with a belief in continuous improvement, solving long-standing problems and enhancing delivery to enhance the guest experience.
- Knowledge of contributing to the composition of the hotel’s annual budget and monitoring the hotel’s performance throughout the year.
- Ensuring optimal room occupancy rates and average room rates to maximize revenue.
- Manage operations concerning brand standards, revenue, and costs.
- As a strong brand ambassador, work with your team to deliver the brand’s service experience.
- Monitoring current and future trends in industrial markets, practices, and systems and establishing action plans
- Research, analyze, and evaluate hotel operations to ensure adherence to established hotel P&Ps.
- Collaborate with the hotel team to promptly submit monthly reports to owners and corporate offices. Be on standby 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency or other emergencies.
1b. Hotel Operations – Supervisor
- As a supervisor, be a role model, share expertise and continuously inspire the front office team.
- Train, direct, problem-solve, coach, and counsel team members to ensure quality operations.
- Involved in the selection and recruitment of team members for the operations department.
2. Others
- Occasionally it may also accommodate ad-hoc office projects or other projects.
- Participation in committees within the hotel.

Skills
- Graduate certificate or degree in hotel management, hospitality or service
- Experience in operations manager or similar position in the hospitality industry
- Excellent organizational skills and leadership
- Commitment to providing high standards of customer service
- Knowledge of data analysis, performance/operations metrics
- Limited service hotel management and financial experience
- IT savvy
