The Role

Working within our Technology Operations Team, our Infrastructure Engineer will contribute to managing the servers, associated infrastructure, and networks for KFC operations.

You’ll implement and maintain a complex range of enterprise systems, server hardware, software, applications, and systems.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • You’re a resourceful and proactive self-starter.
  • 3-5 years of IT support experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay flexible and solution-oriented.
  • Proven ability to work well in a dynamic, flexible team environment.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Technical knowledge of hardware and system configurations
  • Active Directory, End User Computing (imaging PC’s laptops), Mobile Device Management (Phone/Tablets), VMWare and
  • Basic Networking Knowledge
  • Printer and meeting room equipment management and configuration experience.

A day in the life of your new role

  • Provide 1st/2nd and 3rd level technical support, high-level troubleshooting, and incident management support across a range of technologies.
  • Monitor and manage KFC’s business-critical systems, recommending and implementing infrastructure and/or security upgrades
  • Vendor management to ensure KFC’s organizational needs are being met.
  • Support team members with Computer, Telephony, Mobile, Printing & Audio/Visually related matters as part of the technology operations service desk team.
  • Administer and Support Servers and related services.
  • Develop, test & implement new operating platforms and processes.
  • Maintain Active Directory and network services (e.g., DNS).
  • Develop and improve Service Catalogue offerings & Incident Management systems.
  • Create/Update Documentation & Training materials.
  • Administer Exchange Groups and Global contacts.
  • Evaluate and install new hardware and software as required
  • You will also contribute to solution architectures, strategy, standards, service definitions and methodologies for KFC’s technical architecture domain.
