Job Title: Interim Project Director (Defence Sector)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Project Director with expertise in the Defence sector to join a project for one of our Defence clients in the London region.
As an Interim Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of complex Defence projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage all aspects of Defence projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
– Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders
– Manage project risks and issues, and develop and implement effective mitigation strategies
– Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that they are motivated and working effectively
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
– Communicate project status and progress to senior management and other stakeholders
– Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an Interim Project Director in the Defence sector
– Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
– Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
– Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in the Defence sector
– A degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, business, project management)
