Hong KongWe are/have:

  • Experts in banking and payments, capital markets and wealth and asset management
  • Deep knowledge in financial services, including, e.g. Finance Risk and Compliance, Financial Crime, Core Banking etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor application components.
  • Global support includes weekend availability to troubleshoot production-related issues and perform checkouts.
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux environments with good command over any scripting language such as Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of configuration Management systems such as Ansible.
  • Strong Knowledge of CI tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups in an energetic, diverse environment.
  • Debugging the system and fixing production-related issues.
  • Handles complex operational tasks and recommends process and technology changes.
  • Build monitor tools for production environments.
  • Expedient deployment of new systems. Capacity planning and support for increasing volumes and business growth.
  • Knowledge of networking and storage concepts.
  • Escalate/follow up on permanent fixes for development-related issues.
  • Provide solutions for application automation.
  • Manage communication of system and application outages to the end users whenever required.
  • Resolve complex application and technical problems.
  • Build, test and install the software in Dev, QA, and Prod/DR environments.
  • Support complex efforts involving Analysis, Design, Development and testing of various application components

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Previous career roles in Support Analyst Experience with Financial industry experience
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux environments with good command over any scripting language such as Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure concepts.
  • Nice to understand DevOps tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience in support of a real-time trading environment.
  • Knowledge of support applications that use high-performance messaging/middleware.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of FIX protocol.
  • Java, C#, C++ development skills set, a nice plus.
