🔎 Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various legal and compliance tasks and projects, as well as gaining valuable experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, able to work independently, collaborative and possess excellent communication skills.
🌟Objectives:
Gain hands-on experience in legal and compliance work. Develop skills in legal research, drafting legal documents, and compliance monitoring and reporting. Learn about the legal and compliance requirements of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. Gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Legal and Compliance Department.
💻 Responsibilities:
- Assist with legal research and analysis as needed.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, especially corporate governance documents (Minutes, certificates, Powers of Attorney, forms), and contracts.
- Support in the management of legal cases and administrative files.
- Collaboration with external law offices.
- Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Support in policies drafting and implementation.
- Attend meetings and take notes.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects.
- Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
🦸🏻 Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a law degree (bachelor’s degree or very near)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced level in English (mandatory).
- Available to work a full time per week.
