Your key responsibilities as FBA Implementation Manager will be:

  1. Provide financial governance and support as a finance business partner.
  2. Deliver solutions to minimise financial and commercial risk on existing contracts and improve efficiency, profitability and cash flow. Provide appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence the decision-making process.
  3. Ensure that changes in commercial and financial requirements are communicated and implemented promptly.
  4. Build solid relationships with both external and internal customers to foster collaboration, networking & best practice.
  5. Support the operations team with start-ups, projects and strategic opportunities ensuring commercial propositions are developed and implemented.
  6. Manage multiple stakeholders – Internal – Collaboration within peer group, LLP Commercial and finance team, country team, Accenture, PWC and own area finance team. External – day-to-day customer relationships, including their finance team.
  7. Support commercial issues and discussions with the Customer around the contract, once operational as part of handover and stabilisation
  8. Ensure financial and customer reporting & forecasting aids decision-making and monitor progress.

  10. Adopt and deliver the Finance strategy
  11. The senior finance reference point for Operational counterparts and BD leads
  12. Align to the strategic direction of the business and the associated initiatives.
  13. Ensure financial controls are highly effective and compliant with group policies and are maintained and communicated
  14. To create and maintain first-class financial reporting in adherence to group policies.
  15. Identify and manage financial and commercial risk through thoroughly understanding commercial terms, ongoing performance, and other influencing factors.
  16. Understand and manage sources of profit delivery, including flex budgets, gain share, KPIs, pricing mechanisms etc.
  17. Manage and monitor the business’s ongoing and future financial performance to ensure management can optimise decision-making.
  18. Create, drive & manage improvement programmes to aid business efficiency and profitability.
  19. As required support the preparation of contracts & business cases from a commercial & financial perspective, working with other stakeholders (e.g. legal, risk, property, tax) to ensure profit optimisation & risk mitigation. (Where not supported by the commercial team)
  20. Undertake cost builds to support renewal and new business opportunities utilising existing knowledge and UKI best practice

Requirements for the Job

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience (such as logistics, key business sectors, competitor or customer organisations)
  • 3-5 years financial commercial & financial experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in one of the following roles: A similar role in another company (subsidiary)
    • business management
    • • Financial Auditing
    • • Cross-divisional experience
  • Language requirements: English fluent. Other languages, an advance.
  • Qualified Accountant ICAEW or CIMA or ACCA or equivalent or part qualified and actively working to full qualification.
  • Master’s degree in Finance / Economics / Business Administration or similar”
