Job Description
Program managers oversee the fulfillment of larger organizational goals. They coordinate activities between multiple projects without directly managing them. Instead, they manage the main program, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executing projects within assigned work scope, budget, and schedule, the role is responsible for:
- New Products development;
- Product portfolio regionalization;
- Cost reduction;
- Value Analysis – Value Engineering;
- Coordinate all projects and collaborate with both global and local Engineering, Supply Chain, Plant functions, and executive leaders;
- Define, oversee and meet all project priorities/phases and road map based on business needs. Furthermore:
- Provide overall leadership to projects in terms of strategy, technology, programs, people & processes, communication, risk reduction, timelines, etc.;
- Maintain communication with customers and all other functions involved in all the projects, seeking feedback and driving continuous improvement to meet expectations;
- Coordinate cross-functional teams activities;
- Keep and manage prompt and accurate records of all meetings (also called conferences);
- Generate and share on-time and accurate reports;
- Develop and implement shared websites (i.e., SharePoint), uploading documents relevant to customers/colleagues.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s /Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology is required. Preferably in Mechanics;
- Fluent in English;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial company;
- Understanding of manufacturing and/or plant equipment and production processes;
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Project Management tools;
- Proven ability to present to senior management at customers and internally;
- Ability to work cross-functionally and across businesses;
- Proven successful experience in international and multi-cultural work environments;
- Proven adaptability and problem-solving skills;
- International travel availability.
