Tribalco seeks a highly organized individual with a keen eye for details to join our Proposal Team, and this position will work around 20 hours per week.

The Proposal Coordinator will report to the Senior Director for Capture and Proposals and be responsible for developing, coordinating, and completing Requests for Proposal (RFP).

Requests for Information and White Paper responses are scheduled and project-based, so flexibility and willingness to work to deadlines are appreciated.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the proposal development process; coordinate resources for proposal development, writing, and production.
  • Provide administrative support to the Proposal Team
  • Collaborate with the Proposal Team to develop a proposal schedule, RFP-compliant outline and proposal response material
  • Harvest appropriate proposal content from previously submitted proposals
  • Proofread and reconciled reviewer comments
  • Assist with Color Team Review process – including setting up meetings, collating responses, and distributing materials
  • Edit proposal material for content consistency, compliance, and grammatical errors
  • Format proposal, integrating adjustments from the Proposal Team
  • Maintain quality and document version control throughout the proposal process
  • Update and maintain proposal Microsoft SharePoint site
  • Assist with ongoing improvements for proposal processes, tools, templates, archives, boilerplate material
  • Develop and improve corporate capabilities documents and past performance references
  • Prepare data calls and RFI responses for review by the Proposal Manager
  • Prepare and track customer questionnaires as appropriate
  • Support proposal efforts such as Past Performance narratives, Capability Statements, proposal and production coordination, etc.
  • Analyze task orders and amendments, evaluate requirements and work with the Proposal Team to develop responses.
  • Gather proposal content to share with Proposal Team to incorporate into the response.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with government contracting solicitation and Request for Proposal (RFP) process is desired.
  • Ability to communicate well
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required. High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is desired.
  • Experience with graphics, desktop publishing or related field is desired.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to conduct research and translate it into proposal content.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of experience in editing, writing, journalism, communications, or a related area; may substitute five years of experience in a connected place instead of a degree.
