Job Description

Protection engineers supervise the maintenance of protection equipment of an electric power distribution system to reduce interruption to service. They coordinate the repair, tests, and installation of equipment. Protection engineers study new development to determine the suitable application to the protection system.

Protection Maintenance Engineer

Skills

Experience in maintenance of protective equipment involved in EHV, HV, and LV substations.
Must have theoretical and practical know-how of all types of protection relays, including distance protection relays in the substations, including testing.
Must be able to test and maintain battery charger and electronic circuitry
Should be able to obtain Kuwait Society of Engineering Membership Registration
