Job Description
Sales Manager – German Speaking
- €50,000 – €70,0000 basic salary
- Commission paid 1.9% of all invoiced sales
- Realistic earnings – €30,000 year 1, €40,000 year 2 and €50,000 year 3 onwards
- Business expensed company car (brand new)
- 20-25 days leave + public holidays (proportional to your location)

This business is driven by YOY growth, and in return, they offer a lucrative package and a structured career path to excel within the industry.If you are an experienced technical sales professional, dynamic and driven by sales growth, then I might have an opportunity that will give you the platform to not only demonstrate your sales credentials and the opportunity to climb up the career ladder.The Sales Manager’s role will suit a technical sales professional selling engineering machinery, special purpose machinery or high-value capital equipment (CapEx) to manufacturing customers.This multi-site manufacturing organisation has a global footprint in over 30 countries worldwide, with the option to move to any one of its worldwide operations. In return, you will be provided with the support, training and development from an organisation that invests very heavily in the development of its staff. The training alone is unrivalled by their competitors, and I know this for a fact, having recruited several staff within the Commercial Sales Team.The role of the Sales Manager will be as follows.
- Selling capital equipment to customers across the Benelux region
- Complete ownership of the sales process in the designated area from the attendance of tradeshows, client presentations & demonstrations, lead generation, sales opportunity evaluation and customer procurement
- You will also be responsible for the calculation of quotations, negotiation, closing sales to after-sales support
- New business development, identifying target customers throughout the region and building long-term business relationships with food and beverage customers (a large proportion of the customer data is already there)
- Provide your manager and head office with timely reports and analysis of order intake, costs, sales, sales targets, etc
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Experience & Background
- A proven track record of selling high-value Capital Equipment (CapEx), special-purpose machinery or large engineering equipment in the manufacturing sector
- Experienced in new business sales as well as developing existing accounts
- A success-driven and results-orientated Sales Manager
- It would be best if you were based in Belgium, Netherlands or Germany
- Fluent in German and English is a prerequisite
