Job Description
The Senior Business Development Executive’s primary purpose is to lead and oversee the development and growth of a profitable new business, increase the client base, develop and maintain effective key customer relationships, and ensure business growth by directing and managing business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Maximize the value to KRH of all business development and commercial opportunities. While managing sales targets and developing key market entries
- Develop new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance
- Spearheaded full-cycle sales operations (initial lead identification, bid/no-bids assessments, tendering, negotiation, risk review, and contract closure.
- Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company
- Track Status with in-depth details of current, pending and new projects across the industry.
- Formulate competitor analysis and company value and ensure KRH is qualified and included to conduct win/pursuit plans.
- Guide Operations on commercial proposals, projects, tenders, and meeting target backlog.
- Increase development activities by building partnerships with leading international and local providers
- Coordinate tender requirements; develop quotes; write commercial proposals; develop and transiting contract requirements into business operations.
- Generate and distribute specific reports as required in alignment with the position
- Focus on winning and keeping a profitable business
- Planning and overseeing new and existing marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to effectively and rapidly resolve problems
- Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present the company products and services
- Establish trust with all internal and external stakeholders and maintain excellent communication.
- Prepare and deliver pitches to potential investors
- Act as the face of the company for contract negotiations, strategic business decisions, and day-to-day decision-making.
Skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA):
- B.SC of Business Administration or Marketing or Equivalent
- 5 to 7 years of Experience
- Excellent presentation, communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound organizational abilities
- Ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with clients
- Ability to quickly build rapport and gain respect at all levels of an organization
- Extensive experience and proven success with formulating, implementing and sustaining client development efforts and in building/expanding client relationships
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated, with a team-oriented attitude
- Demonstrate effectiveness in prospecting and developing new business
- Ability to define sales opportunities
- Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of productivity tools and software
- High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making
