This is a voluntary summer position.

Programs will be held on campus and follow COVID-19 safety rules.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• • Create a positive, achievement-oriented, and structured learning environment that motivates and supports students

• • Execute daily instruction responsibilities, including lesson plans and connecting students with resources.

• • Provide feedback to students and families regularly share their progress toward their goals

• • Design and implement subject-relevant curriculum

• • Follow and use grade and subject matter appropriate curriculum

• • Exhibit and utilize effective classroom management techniques

• • Use culturally relevant pedagogy

• • Design and implement differentiated instruction and assessments for various skill levels and learning types

• • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• • Valid California Credential authorizing service in applied position

• • Training and experience in the specific programs are required

• • Must be proficient in standards-based instruction and assessment Demonstrate ability to motivate at-risk youth
