Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions (“TTS”) seeks dynamic professionals to build a more digital future for our unique and market-leading global network.  Led by the Global Head of Partnerships and Innovation, the P&I team manages investments, partnerships, innovation, and digital assets-specific efforts across the TTS franchise.  TTS generates nearly $10 billion in revenue annually across its Payments & Receivables, Liquidity Management Services, Commercial Cards, and Trade & Working Capital segments and contributes approximately $650 billion in deposits to Citi.

Responsibilities

• Support the TTS innovation agenda as an integral member of the working team
• Identify and execute new strategic investment opportunities that further TTS’ strategic objectives and meet emerging client needs.
• Support Citi principals in negotiation, due diligence, structuring, and investment approval
• Develop sourcing network for opportunities, particularly among venture capital firms
• Work directly with the Global Head of P&I on investment opportunities across TTS lines of business.
• Provide support for governance, administration, and investment lifecycle events
• Lead periodic risk and valuation review processes
• Support broader TTS / ICG investment and management activities, building strong working relationships with stakeholders across Citi and relevant external partners.
• Present initiatives, progress, and outcomes to senior members of the P&I and TTS organization, including business leadership

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and 7+ years of work experience in relevant areas of focus; advanced degree and experience in principal investing preferred but not required
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams that include business, technology, operations, and other stakeholders to identify and execute strategic investments
• Strong working knowledge of the transactional, deal-oriented environment with an emphasis on assessing strategic value and returns potential
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Highly developed communication, networking, and consensus-building skills
• Understanding of market landscape, industry trends, and relevant lines of business
• Knowledge of new product development and technology adoption in financial services
• Must be efficient, organized, and highly motivated
• Ability to work under pressure and manage dynamic deadlines
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders locally and across geographies

Average Salary: HK$1,300,000
