Job Description
Nicole Racing Japan G.K.’s Accounting and Finance Headquarters handles the sales and service of luxury brand imported cars.・Competizione, Nicole Motor Cars) and their consolidated companies. Nicole Group’s Assistant Accounting Manager belongs to the Accounting Department within the Accounting and Finance Headquarters and is responsible for settlement processing, external accounting audits, internal audits, compliance with internal controls (financial disclosure), accounting advice to each department, etc., the main business.
Responsibilities
- As an acting manager, non-consolidated and consolidated financial statements, tax, etc., monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, dealing with auditing firms (including internal control), and dealing with tax effect accounting. .
- Appropriate information provision and proposal work for Japanese and US management from an accounting perspective. Simplifying and speeding up the accounting department’s settlement processing with high precision, transforming it into a department that shifts its focus to analysis and advisory services for each brand.
- Practical procedures specific to consolidated financial statements (e.g., intra-group transaction volume, elimination of credits and liabilities, elimination of investments and capital, etc.) when preparing quarterly and year-end consolidated financial statements.
- As a 100% subsidiary in the United States, you will lead the knowledge transfer of US-GAAP practical experience.
- Preparations for the introduction of IFRS and close cooperation with external auditors.
- Operational management of the financial accounting system. And settlement processing using data generated from multiple sales and inventory management systems.
- Observance of US accounting policies, business procedure manuals, business flow, RCM operation of accounting processing, and thorough dissemination to related parties.
- Preparation and reporting of various accounting materials, cooperation with each company and business division (acceleration of settlement of accounts and promotion of business flow).
- Commenced operation of hard closing and improved accuracy by introducing a workflow for purchases and expenses. Efficient closing schedule.
- Engage in the operation of the group accounting system, and collaborate with the planning department to improve and streamline business processes.
- Guidance and training of accounting staff.
- Supervise cash flow management and promotion of EB/CMS review project.
- Participated in a cash reduction project for non-cash and a project to study contactless payment methods.
- Coordination with the accounting system by changing the business system (future).
- Compliance-related work (internal control knowledge, practical experience, risk assessment, etc.).

- GAAP reconciliation and reporting of fixed assets, rented, and leased assets.
- Financial accounting impact analysis, advice, and approval of new transactions and products to understand assumed financial and corporate risks.

Required Skills
- Accounting experience under US-GAAP and J-GAAP or IFRS. GAAP adjustment knowledge and experience to US-GAAP (Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting)
- 5 years or more experience in accounting (at a level capable of compiling monthly and annual accounts)
- 5 years or more experience in FP&A (preferred treatment)
- Experience in accounting work at a US company/multinational company
- Experience in a wide range of accounting work in a small company in a small company (preferred) -Knowledge of of foreign exchange and experience in foreign exchange contracts (preferred) -Legalwork contract advice) (preferred)
- JCPA qualification (preferred), USCPA pass/qualification (preferred)
