1. Sales Assistant

CIC Tokyo is looking for a personable and organized individual to help support CIC’s Sales Team to bring new members into the CIC community and contribute to the members’ success at CIC.

Starting compensation is ¥4,000,000-6,000,000 or above, depending on the career, gross annually (excluding a holiday allowance).

Responsibilities

  • You will provide general support to your team by helping to address workspace inquiries from prospective clients.
  • Building specific proposals for our future clients based on their criteria with the support of the Sales Team.
  • Keeping clients up to date with payment information.
  • Ensuring data integrity in the team’s sales systems and several others.

Requirements

  • At least two years of professional experience with administrative positions.
  • Fluency in speaking, writing and reading Japanese and English.
  • Excellent written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and natural gravitation toward detail orientation and organization.
  • Familiarity with basic software/tools such as Microsoft Office.

2. Community Associate

CIC is looking for a full-time, early-career Community Associate to join the team. This is a great opportunity for a natural ‘can-do’ individual with at least one year of professional work experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Potential responsibilities will include:

  • Stocking and maintaining kitchens and conference rooms on two CIC floors.
  • Developing relationships with CIC clients, making sure they are happy and have what they need.
  • Creatively finding ways to meet a broad range of client requests
  • Responding to requests efficiently and personally.
  • Ensuring that regular systems are operating smoothly and assisting when necessary.

Requirements

  • Ideally, at least 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural interest in helping and supporting others.
  • An interest in a long-term role – we are a growing company, and we like to hire people who can grow with us over the years.
  • The ability to legally work in Japan. CIC is unable to sponsor visas for this role at this time.
  • Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English.

3. Operations and Community Manager

CIC is looking for a highly capable, self-directed, and experienced individual to manage a team that will be responsible for day-to-day operations.

This will be a great opportunity for someone with at least five years of hands-on managerial experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and train our Community Team members; conduct timely performance evaluations and support their growth and professional development.
  • Be aware of and responsible for the team’s workload, resources, morale, and training needs; advocate for the team’s needs with upper management.
  • Master service-oriented tasks such as client moves, office setup, and IT troubleshooting; train team members on completing client requests and delegating appropriately.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of managing team members in a fast-paced environment and 5-7 years of professional experience.
  • Evidenced growth and increase in responsibility and success in previous roles.
  • An interest in a long-term role – we are a growing company, and we like to hire people who can grow with us over the years.
  • The ability to legally work in Japan.

4. Sales & Relationship Manager

They are looking for a motivated sales professional with experience building meaningful client relationships to grow and support our innovation community. This person will contribute to the success of our CIC Tokyo Relationship Management & Sales Team.

You will be working alongside the leadership team in Tokyo, selling a product and service that has a great reputation.

You will help build a positive name and awareness of CIC in Tokyo to develop leads, attract new clients, and maintain a strong relationship supporting them once they are clients operating within the space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 -5 years of professional experience in sales or relationship management.
  • The ability to legally work in Japan. CIC is unable to sponsor visas for this role at this time.
  • Fluency in Japanese and strong English proficiency.

5. Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist

CIC is looking for a bilingual professional interested in being a part of our growing Talent Team working from Tokyo, Japan.

Starting compensation is between ¥6,000,000.00 – ¥7,000,000.00 gross annually, excluding a holiday allowance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with professional work experience in full-cycle recruitment, excited by and able to work effectively in different time zones.

Your daily responsibilities will include owning the recruitment processes for all CIC Tokyo roles, planning interviews, and communicating with candidates through email and in-person interactions.

Requirements

  • You are an articulate (both in English and Japanese), ethical individual who thinks critically, understands the nuances of effective communication, and is interested in a career contributing to the growth of the global organization.
  • At least three years of professional experience in recruiting and/or at least three years in an HR, recruiting, or recruiting agency role.
  • Full fluency in speaking, writing and reading English and Japanese (at N1 level at least).
  • Excellent written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and natural gravitation toward detail orientation and organization.
  • Ability to occasionally be flexible with your schedule in order to accommodate international meetings.
  • Knowledge of governmental and legal regulations around hiring best practices in Japan.
