At the time you accept your offer to study at Macquarie University, there are two payments you need to make:
1. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) must be paid for the entire duration of your course. It must be paid before you start at Macquarie.
2. Commencement Fee The Commencement Fee is a portion of your tuition fee that you need to pay when you accept an offer to study at Macquarie University. It is usually set at around AU$ 16,000 and must be paid before you start at Macquarie.
The Commencement Fee does not represent the total cost of your unit enrolment. You will need to check eStudent once you enrol. This Commencement Fee is taken off your first session tuition fees (i.e., it is not in addition to your tuition fees), you will then need to pay the balance for the session.

If you do not meet the entry requirements for any of your preferences, you may automatically be considered for a pathway program through Macquarie University College.
All international students at Macquarie must provide evidence of English proficiency. If you have studied at another tertiary academic institution, you may be eligible for recognition for prior learning (RPL) towards your degree at Macquarie University.
