- Relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent
- Significant creative industry experience
- PhD level qualification (or be working towards one)
- Creative practice experience
- Teaching interests in some or all of the following areas:

- Performance
- Music in the community
- Music and gender
- Popular music pedagogy
- The ability to lead, write and coordinate modules and develop research projects
- Practical experience gained within the creative industries and a network of industry contacts

- OR creative practice / industries-based publications and/or arts and creative funding success.
- Experience in hybrid delivery of learning and teaching and in use of authentic/real-world assessment approaches
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting an outstanding student experience
