The Higher Education Authority (HEA) is pleased to issue the 2024 Call under the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme. Under the initiative, 60 scholarships will be provided for one year of study at Bachelor’s, Master or PhD levels to successful candidates who have an offer of a place at an eligible Irish higher education institution. The offer is open to students from non-EU/EEA countries and applies to all fields of study.
Successful students will receive:
- A €10,000 stipend for one year’s study
- A complete fee waiver of all tuition and other registration costs at the higher education institution

HEST 2024- Higher Education Scholarship Test for Indian students

HEST Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be an Indian national with a valid Indian passport
- Applicants should have a minimum score of 60% in the 10th and 12th
- Applicants must submit proof of admission abroad, which can be a GRE/IELTS/TOEFL scorecard, etc. OR foreign University admission confirmation. The evidence of entry abroad need not be ready at the time of the test and can be submitted anytime before receiving the scholarship cash award
- The applicant may use this scholarship to study any course- STEM or non STEM from any recognized foreign university within the next two years
