An Operations Assistant is a professional who works with managers and staff to ensure administrative tasks are completed as needed in the organization—hiring an Operations Assistant for Abu Dhabi.

Operations Assistant responsibilities include scheduling appointments, organizing files, and distributing mail as required. Ultimately, you will work with department managers to ensure all administrative tasks are completed to keep the department running smoothly.

A good Operations Assistant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills since they handle all administrative tasks needed in a department or organization. An Operations Assistant will work with many professionals like a General Manager to ensure their department can complete all administrative tasks to meet its goals throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with project communication and documentation regarding the status of projects.
  • We coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, distribute memos and reports, and ensure that everyone is current on necessary company news and information.
  • Planning, calendaring, and organizing.
  • Work closely with the operations manager to oversee daily business operations.
  • Assists with management of support renewals and follow-up with clients relating to operational issues.
  • Promptly answer the questions of staff and other stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Prepare and file forms and other documents
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Take inventory and order office supplies as needed
  • Update logs and order forms
  • Analyze all operations and forward suggestions for improvement to the Manager

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative support functions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with strong attention to detail.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb organizational abilities
  • Relevant training and certifications as an Operations Assistant
