Senior Manager / Associate Director, HNW & Wealth Strategy

The Company’s client is an international Financial Services Group with a strong history in the Asia Pacific in Retail Wealth, Insurance, and Asset Management businesses. As part of strategic growth within their Wealth Management business, the group is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to drive the development of their HNW business proposition in the Hong Kong market. This person must be a subject matter expert on trust, tax, and estate planning matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop the overall HNW proposition for the group
• Plan and deliver value-added services to HNW clients
• Work closely with sales teams and intermediaries to promote all Trust, Tax, and Estate Planning services to generate sales activities in the segment
• Involved in client meetings and advise on Trust related matters to develop new businesses
• Lead the discussions with external trustees, tax & legal consultants
• Develop and provide related training, sharing sessions, and communication materials to sales teams
• Provide insights and come up with strategic decisions on future proposition development for the HNW business
• Provide support to ad hoc projects arising from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

• University graduate or equivalent with 10 years+ experience in the provision of wealth advisory services to the high net worth segment
• Welcome Tax/Legal Advisory candidates
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Trust, Tax, and Estate Planning
• Solid understanding of HK laws (such as HK Trustee Ordinance, HK Stamp Duty Ordinance, Wills Ordinance, etc.), tax regime of key countries/regions (such as PRC, UK, US, etc.), and other applicable laws and regulations (such as Marriage Law, Estate Law, etc.)
• Possession of or perusing related professional qualifications (e.g., STEP, CTP, CPA, etc.)
• Outstanding communication and project management skills with great stakeholders’ management experience
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Ability to work under pressure while multitasking
• You must obtain a relevant license (s) if your job involves regulated activities.

Average Salary: HK$60,000
