DGI Geoscience is looking for a Field Technician to join our team! DGI Geoscience is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in premium borehole geophysical services for mining, exploration, geotechnical and environmental applications.

We seek energetic and resourceful applicants for the Field Technician position for immediate and future hiring requirements. Formal relevant education and field experience are assets, although technical training will be provided.
The Field Technician will be primarily responsible for field data acquisition, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting state-of-the-art borehole geophysical equipment. Additional responsibilities include a preliminary data quality assessment, QA/QC procedures, and interaction with contractor and client representatives.
This occupation is well suited for individuals who enjoy travelling, the outdoors and a dynamic and exciting workplace. DGI is a growing company with opportunities for advancement to senior field staff, project management and data processing positions.
The location of the position is flexible. The location of the position is flexible. This person will be required to work remotely, across the USA, Canada, Mexico and internationally, at client mine and exploration sites. The position offers the ability to travel and is ideally suited for those motivated to join a team dedicated to providing innovative applications of advanced technologies.
Requirements
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Willingness to Travel
- Capability to lift 50 lbs
- MSHA considered a bonus
