AVP to VP, Internal Audit (Treasury Audit)

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessment and development of audit plans for individual audit projects.
• Conduct an audit of the Bank’s internal control environment to identify control weaknesses.
• When assigned as Auditor-in-Charge, prepare audit reports and lead an audit team to undertake assigned audit projects to meet audit objectives in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Provide value-added findings and appropriate recommendations in a written audit report by balancing risks, controls, business and efficiency issues. Prepare audit programs, working papers and audit findings.
• Follow up on the progress and implementation of rectifications to ensure prompt and satisfactory completion.
• Undertake thematic or ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• University graduate majoring in accountancy with CPA, CFA or related professional qualification.
• Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in treasury, risk management, or finance audit in the banking industry. Familiar with Risk Rating Systems & Models under the IRB Approach, including model development, management and validation.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations, internal control systems and risk management.
• Experience in data analytics is preferable.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Good analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• An independent, committed, self-motivated team player with multi-tasking and good interpersonal skills.
