Environmental Engineer

The Company’s client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employed over 2,000 professionals with an overall turnover of €1 billion in 2020 and delivered leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors, including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advice and input into the identification and effective management of environmental risks
• Manage and track compliance with all environmental approvals, licences, and permits relating to the site.
• The focal point within the company for all issues related to the environment and sustainability
• Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of project environmental management systems
• Support the maintenance of comprehensive environmental records.
• Liaise with government bodies and professional organisations on environmental matters as required.
• Manage environmental consultants and undertake field monitoring as required.
• Conclusion and submission of required regulatory paperwork
• Drive/manage Environmental (awareness) training for all project personnel (toolbox talks, etc.)

REQUIREMENT

• You must be able to speak a high-level of Italian
• Have an understanding of local legislation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a related field is preferable.
