As part of the CRE team, you are responsible for resource management, quality, scheduling, and project scopes, and you provide valuable assistance in achieving our significant growth targets.

Project scopes vary between the conversion of production spaces or offices to expansions and new construction, which include integrated process and media technology as well as portfolio expansions.

The short-term and long-term projects within your sphere of responsibility are multidisciplinary and technically complex and have considerable budgets.

Tasks

1. Manage projects related to new construction or the conversion and renovation of buildings and technical systems used in industrial operations.
2. Determine the requirements of each project in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
3. Implement technically complex, multidisciplinary projects according to the building generation process (BGP) within CRE.
4. Create project initiation documents (PID), project plans, intermediate reports, and project completion documents that are all based on our business requirements and building generation process (BGP).
5. Ensure timely delivery, budget compliance, occupational safety, and the fulfilment of all quality standards.
6. Make continuous improvements to project management standards and methods.
7. Coordinate all involved parties including stakeholders, architects, engineers (internal and external), consultants, technicians, contractors, and users.

Qualifications

1. Completed engineer studies in construction management or comparable qualification
2. Extensive relevant industry experience, e.g., from the semi-conductor, solar, automotive, medical technology, etc. sectors
3. At least three years of project management experience in the construction, conversion, and renovation of industrial facilities
4. Experience with projects related to manufacturing or production processes
5. Knowledge of infrastructure supply systems (power, mechanical, gas, clean rooms, clean room technology, etc.)
6. General knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations (e.g., EN/ISO, sustainability, construction tendering and contracts (Germany: VoB), etc.)
7. Knowledge of LEAN, PMBoK/Prince beneficial
8. Understanding of the effects of various (technical) decisions as well as the ability to find the best solution
9. Experience using MS Project or comparable planning systems
10. Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
11. Initiative, independence, and ability to make decisions
12. Ability to prioritize and manage stakeholders
13. Self-confidence, ability to cope with pressure
14. Ability to assess risk and correctly evaluate the situation to minimize risks
15. Fluent in business German and English, both written and spoken.
