Our Medical Innovation department within the Care Management Department is seeking to incorporate a nurse in the company’s risk underwriting area, joining an innovative process digitization project and providing support to the authorization area.

Main responsibilities and objectives:

1. Parameterization of the pathologies declared by the insured before contracting the health policy to identify automatic controls of undeclared pathologies and exclusions to apply to the insurance.
2. Identification and parameterization of the coding of medical acts related to said exclusions.
3. Collaboration in the analysis, monitoring and coordination of the accident rate, as well as in the care segmentation of the insured portfolio derived from the applied coding.
4. Automation of pathology control processes and segmentation of policyholders.
5. Collaboration in other parameterization and information automation projects for the Healthcare Management Department.
6. Application of health and coverage knowledge in risk underwriting.
7. Participation in the service authorization process according to the general conditions.
8. Participation with the team in continuous training programs for other company departments.
9. Knowledge and application of the ethical and legal standards of the company.

Basic requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Healthcare experience and highly recommended experience in healthcare management.
• High english level.
• Desirable knowledge of risk underwriting in medical insurance companies.
• Knowledge of new technologies and good use of computer tools.
• Strong communication skills and empathy with clients.
• Capacity for teamwork.
• Ability to solve problems and work under stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
