Job description
The company client is a leading financial services group, and they are looking for a high calibre Senior Data Engineer to join their fast growing team.
Responsibilities:
- You will design and implement data lake and BI models, dashboards, and MIS reports
- You will implement data ingestion, data orchestration pipelines, data sourcing, cleansing, augmentation and quality control processes
- You will manage communications with Business and IT stakeholders
- You will perform business analysis, gather user requirements and translate business needs into data solutions
- You will contribute to overall solution, integration and enterprise architectures
- You will contribute to data landscape modernization architectures and roadmaps
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent quantitative field
- Hands-on experience in a data lake and dashboard development on Hortonworks framework and Microsoft Power BI visualization.
- Experience in data lake, warehouse and BI data modelling, ETL programming and big data processing
- knowledge of enterprise data architectures and data design methodologies
- Solid working experience on Azure Cloud, Azure Database and Power BI Report server
- Understanding of relational and warehousing database technology working with at least one of the major databases platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQLServer, or Postgres)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Average Salary:Â HK$Negotiable
