Job Description.

Required for this expanding global TMC. They are looking for an experienced business travel team leader or lead agent with strong sabre knowledge. Salary between 38/42k, home-based, 25 days holidays.

Responsibilities.

  • 60% hands-on bookings, 40% managing a team of 3 growing this to a team of 10.
  • Provide full-service travel arrangements for clientele when call volume and workload necessitate it.
  • Monitor all technology mediums to ensure travel arrangements are managed and completed promptly.
  • Ensure that GDS queues are working properly to verify correct records processing, ticketing, and queue count.
  • Communicate daily break schedules, operational changes, account notifications, expectations, and so on to team members.
  • Provide mentoring and assistance to team members with PNR, QC, ticketing, and technical issues promptly.
  • Champion best-in-class customer service and deliver the unexpected to team members.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with pertinent managers to optimize team member performance and meet department needs.
  • Aid in the resolution of customer service issues and debit memos.
  • Project a positive attitude with high energy, diplomacy, and creativity in work strategies.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the position, including but not limited to conducting reviews, approving timesheets, updating reports, and reviewing new accounts and accounts.
  • Profiles and monitoring new team members’ bookings.

Requirements.

  • Recent, successful experience managing a team of employees within a TMC.
  • Recent experience booking worldwide travel arrangements for another TMC using sabre.
  • Top-notch communication skills.
  • Proven track record of developing sound, professional relationships.
  • Proactively identified, developed, and implemented training regimens, customer service solutions, and overall improvements to the department.

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 a year.
