Job Description

A foreign corporate bank is seeking an Associate, AML Compliance, for the legal and compliance department to perform compliance operating and monitoring functions.

Responsibilities

• Working in the legal and compliance department, you will be responsible for updating changes and new developments from time to time to ensure compliance with applicable AML/CFT laws and regulations.
• Update changes and new developments from time to time to ensure compliance with applicable sanctions laws and obligations
• Coordinate day-to-day preliminary clearance as to sanctions required by the Head Office and comply with relevant requirements for recording and storing of screening evidence
• Draft AML/CFT MIS reports also provide advisory and programs to internal stakeholders of the branch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above holder in Accounting/Finance/Business/Legal/Economics or other related disciplines is preferred
• 3 years of experience (for Associate) in AML/Sanction compliance from corporate banking
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese
• Open-minded individuals who are willing to initiate changes and improvements for better performance
